1233. A Year With My Camera Homework
So.....continuing this morning with the homework set by Emma Davies in her excellent free online photography course.....
I've learned so much on this course and now that I have my camera almost permanently set to manual I am finding that my shots are much improved and I'm also tending to use manual focus to ensure that I get the bit of the subject I want to be in focus...actually in focus.....and that has been a real game changer for me....
I love photographing this pendant and I think I have hundreds of photos of it...I thought I'd try a different perspective and a very narrow DoF....I have processed this image in Lightroom using a free preset which I tweaked just a bit as some of them look far too dark for me...
A quiet day today with a bit of food shopping and no doubt more photos if the opportunity arises....
I am hoping to get a new phone when we get back from holiday and chose the one I want yesterday...an iPhone X! It's a pre-owned one but split new...someone obviously got it as an upgrade and immediately sold it on or traded it for something else....it will be a whole new ball game for me as there's no home button and no finger print ....just facial recognition...not sure how I'm going to get on with that!
