Nerves of steel required

After months of procrastination, I finally organised the car insurance, found his L plates, and took Mr E out for his first drive in the 'Mum bus'.

I am not sure which of us was more nervous, but we both kept calm and communicated well. I did however need to go for a calming iced berry smoothie after the first 10mins! (Not a great time to stop drinking coffee!)

I had to laugh at the situation when we later found a quiet road in a new housing estate, we had to pause to let the other L platers go first - we had all assumed that this road would be deserted!
