In the attic

Searching for today's blip, I crawled around some attic spaces (not at home!). Then came upon this weird model. I have no idea what it was made for, but it seems to have ended up in an appropriate home. 

After posting this, I learned that the piece is called 'Cake for the Drowned', by the talented ceramics artist Susan Atwill.

Otherwise deskbound, but in a week light will start to appear. Through the cobwebs.
