Re-discovery 4
These are a selection of my son’s toys from when he was very young nearly 30 years ago. I think I enjoyed the spinning top the most, whereas he liked the dumper truck. I can’t bring myself to get rid of them. Ruthlessness is largely eluding me at present.
We went on our first house viewing today on a huge estate near Bognor. We got thoroughly lost trying to find the house and had to get a lady in the estate office to guide us over the phone! It was pouring down with rain and not a nice day to visit. The upstairs of the house was super with two great sized bedrooms. Downstairs was another story, with a wretchedly small kitchen and a downstairs cloakroom where the sink had been removed to allow a tumble drier to be stood in there. The kitchen was badly designed and clearly not fit for purpose. As there were two young children in the house, living there must be a struggle, but this is the best young families can afford in the south-east - prices are just horrendous! Not suitable for us really, as I do like a good sized kitchen. So on with the search next week!
