Look out, not in

Mother's Day

I took mum out for lunch today. Kirsty and Sean came with us and we had a nice meal. We had driven to Burntisland through thick fog but as we were finishing our lunch the sun came out and we could see the beach and the shape of Edinburgh in the distance. Mum enjoyed chatting with Sean, she's known him for nearly three years but had little recollection of that. She didn't remember that we'd had a meal in the hotel to celebrate her and dads golden wedding a few years ago but admired the wallpaper. I was going to take a picture of her to remember this Mother's Day but maybe this one is better. This was mum in her late teens, way before her own personal fog erased most of her memories.
