Beside the Lake...

After Rebecca and family had visited we drove over to Leeds.
Pleasant three miles round the two lakes at Roundhay Park.
Very muddy underfoot but we had come prepared.
Lots of signs of new growth and it was significantly warmer than of late.
Just need a bit more colour now.
A welcome pit stop in the Lakeside Cafe then a walk through the park.
Home now with the Sunday papers and l’m going to start making a mushroom ragu and just realised the thyme in my garden hasn’t survived the winter but the sage has exploded and will need some severe cutting back.
Listening to Peggy Gou on Spotify as recommended by my son Tim, he really cares about my musical education.
We both love Ben Watt’s music ( Everything But The Girl and Lazy Dog) and l can see the resemblance with these tracks.
