Green Suede Jacket

It was a rather bracing walk around Delapré Abbey and park this morning. Still zero sunshine here in Northampton, so it's hardly surprising that the moss grows to these thick, verdant proportions.

The abbey and grounds date back to 1145 and are fascinating to visit though much better on a bright, warmer day - whenever that might be!
