Mothers day

My Sunday’s started with a lie in, and those that know me know how rare these are.

My wonderful hubby then got all the bits and pieces together to make a picnic which he packed up along with the camping stove and brewing up things. We plus daughter number one headed out to Rendlesham forest.

After our picnic lunch we went for a walk and spotted a few sculptures. We were aiming to do the red walk, but yet again managed to miss a bit out so didn’t do the whole route!

It’s been a lovely day topped off with a gift of home made scones complete with clotted cream and jam from the eldest for my afternoon tea, delish.
