Where's the bling?

I walked through the Gardens on my way home from an excellent weekend harmony workshop with our local songleader Ali Burns and American Brendan Taaffe (http://www.brendantaaffe.com/)

The Ross Fountain has been being restored. This is the first visible sign of its return, and it looks very different from the blingy gold we are all so familiar with.
