Campfield Moss
A Mothering Sunday excursion. This is an RSPB reserve on the Solway coast, further east than Silloth, near the sharp end. It was a lovely mild sunny spring-like day. The main photo and two of the extras just give a general impression of the character of the reserve, which is being managed principally to provide habitat for ducks in the winter, and ground-nesting waders in spring and summer. The remaining extra is the first coltsfoot I have seen this year.
