Camellia japonica William Bartlett

After taking bringing Katkatkat up to Edinburgh we stayed over night to help her with things from the garden centre which would be difficult without access to a car.  So after breakfast we headed out to Lasswade.

We can't visit a garden centre without having a good look round, so while Katkatkat & G went looking for the things on her list Clickychick and I had a good wander round.  There was a good range of Camellias on show but this double caught my eye.

It would appear to be comparatively new as the RHS say "tentatively accepted name" other sites list it as not readily available.  The structure, petals forming a sort of reverse flower and the mottling of the colours where what attracted me.

After dropping KKK's purchases off at the allotment and her at home we headed back down the motorway.
