Mothering Sunday

A windy and wet day, well it did stop raining for a it in the afternoon, but more showers tonight. 

A usual lazy morning to start the day, but finally got going after breakfast.  I nipped down to mam's in the late morning, and sister Julie and family were along, and bro Jonny came over too.  I later popped along sister Laura for a cuppa, then off to Madeline's for tea.  Walkies with Sammy around Scalloway this evening, and feet up with a book tonight.  

Mam enjoyed having family over for Mother's Day, and she received flowers and gifts.  I'd say knowing mam, just having her family around is more important than any gifts.  Most importantly, getting love, cuddles and kisses from her grandchildren.  Here's mam with some of her grandchildren, Anna, Lena and Lottie.  Taken at Aith, Cunningsburgh.
