One little white chick...

... getting close to mum. 

There's a little black chick in the background, which didn't really belong to mum until she stole a couple of eggs; two more chicks (one black and one white) are safely snuggled under mum, hiding from the camera. 

It only took about 40 shots to get a couple of reasonable pictures but it was fun trying!
