Check Your Batteries Day

Yesterday was Mothers Day, or Mothering Sunday depending on your inclination. But did you know it was also "Check Your Batteries Day".

It seems that almost every day has some kind of "Day" attached to it.  Some well known, other never heard of it before.  Last week we had International Women's Day, but it was also Peanut Cluster Day. There was also, and I wish I had could have found a relevant photo, "Get Over it Day", something a lot of people should do.

But Check Your Batteries Day isn't as stupid as it first may sound. It's  aim is to act as a reminder to check the batteries in your smoke/carbon monoxide alarms. Something that could save you life
