Happy Mothers Day

Our day started with a full breakfast with our 'Shit Friends' and a lovely relaxed time at the dining room table chatting and laughing. We rarely get to use the table as Mr W prefers dinner on his lap so it made a nice change.

Once our overnight guests had left, Mr W went to play squash while I put the spare room back together again then we headed up to Reading to see my (Step) Mummy for Mothers Day. We had planned to take her to the Bull Pub with my sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew, but my sister messaged to say she wasn't able to make it due to lack of funds. So after a few messages back and forth, we decided that Mr W and I would take Mummy out for a meal and meet with my sister later.

Our food was delicious and it was actually quite nice to have some quality time with Mummy before heading over to my sister for tea and cake - or Prosecco!

My Daughters were having a Birthday weekend in Dublin so send me messages and the picture above and my Samuel Squidget Face-booked me to wish me Happy Birthday (that's not till October!!!!!) Bless his cotton socks...he must have had a good night the night before!!!!
