Mudflats
After another day of shredding, MrM picked me up from the office. First a trip to the tip, then to the other side of Berwick where we acquired a long-overdue new rear windscreen wiper for the car and a new road atlas (no - the idea of sat-nav doesn't appeal to either of us!).
Then MrM drove us down to Lindisfarne, where he delivered a guitar he's just repaired to its owner. On the way, we stopped by the causeway for a short walk with Louie. By then the weather had deteriorated and it was cold and rather bleak. The blip is the view over the causeway to the south, with Bamburgh Castle in the distance. The line of poles marks the Pilgrims' Way - the safe passage over the sand between the mainland and Lindisfarne, possible only at low tide in good weather.
