Bedraggled

Apparently this was the tail end of Storm Felix. It was absolutely chucking it down when I left, and stayed that way all day. There were several accidents apparent en route to work, the M621 shut on the opposite carriageway, another closure on the M62 caused a 15 minute delay, but things largely kept moving. 

This was taken at lunchtime.  This is one of the boxes the gardeners have planted around the site, with one of the other buildings just visible behind. The state of the flowers shows the onslaught they have had from recent snow, ice, more snow, and after 3 days recovery, the heavy rain.
