Unexpected flowers

My son doesn’t really do Mother’s Day but he did present me with these beautiful flowers yesterday.

I’ve worked today but my lovely boss suggested that I finished early today and all week.

It was good to be back but I did go for a snooze when I finished.

Someone else had brought in cake so she did bring some home. The carrot cake and the ginger biscuits were scrummy.
