Art playgroup

Have been taking the camera to art playgroup lately, it has been very messy, but now as Lara is more independent and can do most activities herself I can snap away a few more shots. Today's art class was all about texture, smooth verses bumpy.

The kids were all soaking up what the teacher was telling them, and feeling different objects for smoothness or bumpiness. Lara is doing finger painting with bumpy, paint which has sand in it, she loved this and did quite a few paintings, the smooth one was less appealing as it was just regular paint.

They then created a bumpy man, and a smooth man.I must say I am enjoying art more and more, the less involved i am as I get to see little miss lara become all independent.

although I think she was born independent.
