Up close and broken

You probably wouldn't want to get any closer than this to the disaster that befell Humpty Dumpty.  The Kings men and Horses were off at a gymkhana and the six guys that were available just made a complete botch of it.  Humpty was completely scrambled....or was that hard boiled.
