the remains of the snow

Quite bright this morning so after I'd got the ironing out of the way I went out to the farmshop on the bike. I thought I wouldn't make at as the front tyre deflated but after the second stop to pump it up it stayed fine.
On the bridge over the old railway (more often running under it) I paused to survey the scene and take a few pics. Can you see the bright green scarecrow?
After lunch the sun came out for a while and I got a couple of hours tidying in th garden done. Now ready for planting when it gets a bit warmer.
