IT'S ALL GOING ON...

Back to the workshop - CC's back on track after his bout of flu.

Bottom right to top left - 10 dark turquoise truss rods from China.

Charango from Peru - the new politically correct version - the old ones used an armadillo's carapace for the bowl.

Next up is a 1940's Martin ukulele - lovely little instrument - in for varnish retouches.

Then you've got the neck of a 1930's German contraguitar which needed the heat treatment to get it straightened - note the beautiful fluting of the fingerboard!

There is more, but at the top, you've got CC preparing to rout off the headstock of the guitar he's making for Mateo's 13th birthday which was today...

We had "cake" which turned out to be a quiche aux pommes with rolled oats & cinnamon - great!
