Well that was quite a day!

So today we took Bek up to Nottingham Uni to do the first of her two vivas - all about her practical work over the last 2 years. It was very gruelling for her.
We then had to get her back to Luton airport to catch a flight to Switzerland, to get to Italy for a skiing holiday with Ryan and his family - she should have flown out with them on Sunday but had to go later because of the viva. We had to share a bottle of prosecco on the way back down - none for poor JP as he was driving. One more step towards her doctorate!
I was very relieved when she messaged that all had gone well with her flight and transfer and she was safely with the others.
