Happy Retirement!

Today our favourite station ticket clerk retired. I am so glad I happened to be travelling today so was able to see that there was some kind of celebration happening. Good luck to Neville!

Arriving at Brighton station having travelled on the new routed trains where instead of crossing London on the tube to get to Victoria's Gatwick Express, I can now travel from St Neots to Brighton with one change at Farringdon where I had a three minute wait without changing platform. So much easier!

My sister and I have had a relaxing day, walking, talking, eating and drinking...what could be better!
