Tyler Hill

The annual Tyler Hill bonfire is taking shape. Tyler Hill is a settlement just outside Canterbury. The slopes of the hill were once covered with kilns, an industrial site in the middle ages. Tiles made there are still to be found in the cathedral. A dig here was included in a Time Team visit some years ago.
