Young crested grebe

Lovely day and a walk at the lake - grebes and coots with young, though the adult grebe was not interested in its young, pecking them and chasing them away - I think it was time for the youngsters to leave the nest!

Extra is an adult coot feeding a young one. As usual I couldn't decide which one to put up.
