Big Shot

I was on a Revalidation First Aid Course today and Marie was back in Hospital for another procedure and investigation. This evening we went down to the Bay to see The Big Shots at the Big Shot. Tom Walsh hometown boy of Timaru is the current 2017 World Champion Men's Shot Putter, New Zealand Indoor and Outdoor Record Holder. Tom here is in the release phase of the Shot Put throw and setting a New New Zealand Residents Record of 22.06m. Marie and I were at the end of a specially made Shot Put Arc so any Records set and Broken were validated and verified, being 25m from the throwing circle I can tell you now the shot put  looked like it was going to land on my foot and when it did land and rolled it did hit the fence, we were safe but those big boy's all threw around 22m:  World Class Athletes ( The world indoor and outdoor champion will square off against Poland's Konrad Bukowiecki (2017 World Champion finalist), Jamaica's O'Dayne Richards (Commonwealth champion 2014), USA's Ryan Whiting (2014 World Indoor champion) and Brittany Smith, Canada's Tim Nedow (2018 World Indoors finalist), Brittany Crew (Canadian national record holder) and Australia's Damien Birkinhead (2016 Rio Olympic finalist) for his homecoming.)
