I had a tickly throat and nose yesterday evening - overnight it brewed into a full on, head banging, throat rasping, nose running cold. Felt rotten all day, but we had to go to Darlington to check up on mother in law. She also had a hairdresser appointment in the afternoon which we had to take her to and collect from.

Outside the hairdressing salon I spotted this rather unusually shaped stone ‘arrangement’.

I thought it was more interesting than a pile of tissues and cold remedy packets which sums up my day otherwise.

Can’t face a walk with Finlay at the moment…
