Not Quoit Sure!

When they're not on the chess board
the pawns' happy exploits
suggest they are less bored
when playing fun games.

And their target when throwing
bright rings, playing quoits?
There's really no knowing,
so I'll mention no names!

Thanks for all your lovely comments on my yesterblip - taken when it was springtime. Today, it's back to winter. It's blowing a gale and pouring with rain here, so was pleased to find it quite bright and sunny where the chessmen were playing in between matches today. Lucky to spot them, as they provided my blip! (This is the latest in a long series of the chessmen's adventures. They even have their own book!)

Mr PP managed today's first 5-minute walk in the dry, and waited till the rain had eased a little to do his second one, so he didn't get too wet. He's doing very well on his crutches, on Day 3 of Post-Op Exercises at Home.
