Pillar of Strength

I had a site visit in Mirfield  (Tuesday afternoon) and took this shot of the River Calder looking west towards Battyeford.

The pillars in the middle of the river are all that remains of the dismantled LYR railway bridge.

The buildings in the distance with the green roofs belong to the monastic Community of the Resurrection.
