Tulips for Mothers Day

I love tulips. I am bracing myself to order 300 or so for our wedding. Easy to arrange, reasonably priced and beautiful. My lovely girls gave me these for Mothers day, I have lots of flowers and cards so I placed them in my favourite spot. The woodburner is such a lovely focal point in our house. Giles opened up the fireplace at Christmas four years ago because ' he had two weeks off!!' we have been so glad he did.

Lovely day at home. Decorated more jars for our tulips, visit from a different neighbour with a miniature rose and a card. I didn't know that her husband had survived bowel cancer..do your screening test people!! Saves lives!! Then a lovely visit from my oldest ( younger than me - only just!!) friend, tea and conversation. Getting used to being a lady what lunches!!
