Not snow...

More conservation work at Hutton Roof, cutting back and burning hawthorn to create areas for wild flowers and butterflies. There's always a chance to see what else is growing there, like this old gorse stem, covered in a fungus which had the appearance of old flaky paint, or from a distance, an odd bit of snow.
