Not allowed in

Today was frustrating. I told a friend in one of the Syrian camps that we'd visit her. But when I arrived at the camp we weren't allowed in, however fiercely I argued with them. It's so bad for the Syrians that they can't have visitors outside of office hours. How is that a normal existence?

But in some ways it worked out well because we ended up going to the 2nd Syrian camp which we got into and had a lovely visit with friends there and all their fun children. Hearing about the situation in Syria was terrible. It gets worse and worse. Their town is expecting the Turks to target them next and they're all very frightened.
