Spring...

And with spring comes spring cleaning...which for us was cleaning grout between the tile in the dining room and kitchen.  We had a bad place where some grout had chipped up and come out so today the hubby decided he was going to fix it.  I was not quite ready for the cleaning job!   He had to chip out a line of grout from the kitchen to the middle of the dining area (which I had to clean up!) and then we scrubbed the whole floor with spray bleach cleaner.  I used the hard wire brush to clean the old grout and he mopped up the mess..which worked okay as I hate to mop!    Then he put the new grout in and we are now letting it dry overnight.  Tomorrow we will mop again but without the scrubbing part and then apply a coating of grout sealer to the area (and probably the whole floor.)       There are several other little projects that need to be done..like painting window sills outside...but we will wait now for the pollen season to pass.    It has arrived with a vengeance!   Yellow everywhere..even on the dog!   

I walked outside to go get the mail and decided this little dandelion fluff was all I needed for a blip today!
