Playgroup and London today - which is a day of contrasts.

Youngest is finding learning lessons about sharing very hard at the moment and spent quite a bit of playgroup in tears. I think life is suddenly a bit tough for him sometimes and finding out that we can’t always do exactly what we do anybody is t much fun.

Had some good meetings in London, as ever, I hoped to achieve more work than I did, so am working on the train home to desperately get some things done. I fear working for myself is always going to be a battle of fitting everything in.

Primary reason for London was an annual meeting for the charity I’m a trustee of, and for the election of trustees for the coming year. Feeling quite chuffed as I received the fourth largest vote out of 26 people standing - and the ones ‘ahead’ of me are quite fine, experienced trustees.
