North Ida Street

There aren't many unpaved streets around here, but the two northern most blocks of Ida St are unpaved.
Ida is a fairly short (15 blocks), but interesting street beginning where, heading west, you turn right off Willamette Blvd just over the railroad cut. Are you following me? It's a very sharp turn to the right, then immediately it curves to the left before straightening out and traveling north for six blocks to Lombard. Along that stretch it's all houses on one side; on the other it's open space until it reaches the long stretch of the Peninsula Fred Meyer's.
A couple of blocks after it crosses Lombard, it runs along Roosevelt High School where it seems to dead end at Smith St, but if you jog right on Smith for one block, you pick up Ida again by turning left. Here are those two final, unpaved blocks where I took my picture.
The two blocks are intersected by Sedro St; turn right on Sedro for a block or so, and you'll find where my friends live. That's where I was headed this morning.
