Live Foley
Live on stage for an excellent Rose Bruford production of The Hypocrite, # 1 son on stage front and left for the whole two and a half hours with his Foley table. Doors opening and slamming, horses trotting, sword fighting, all the classic greatest hits were there. But we also had the swanee whistle to indicate letters being delivered, cabbages being torn for an execution, and the foley artist entering the scene every so often and some lovely comedic "missed cues".
My first time in Stratford Circus theatre, a nice little space, but hadn't appreciated how cheek by jowl it is to the Theatre Royal.
