Inspiral Carpets

I was sitting working by the window today when a van pulled up and delivered this lovely bouquet.  It's been sent to me by my fabulous gang in Edinburgh, 'The Foxy Chicks'.   

I also received a wonderful card from my Whitstable gang which brought me to tears.  

Meanwhile, the carpet fitters came and carpeted two bedrooms upstairs.  We spent all evening putting the beds back, cracked out the new bedding and had a great night's sleep in a real, not pull out, bed.   Simple pleasures!
