Still here!

After watching the weather forecast last night, we decided to cancel our trip south.  We were going down to Galloway for a few days, but there will be another time.  

We were due to leave at 7 this morning, but stayed in bed instead!  A really cold and raw day, horrendously wild, the Churchill Barriers were closed, terrific waves in the bay and wind so strong you really could hardly stand.  I wouldn't have fancied a ferry crossing in it!  

The only things that were enjoying it were the gulls.  They were feeding on whatever was being washed up on the tide.
