Fall and pools, Watendlath

Spent much of the day around the east side of Derwentwater, including Watendlath. A really lovely, although very overcast and windy, day.

I've shot this waterfall many times, but with the low water levels, I was able to scramble to a low viewpoint, where (using my 16mm lens) I was able to include the little round pool at the base of the falls.  That round rockpool was so close to me that the tripod's leg was only just out of shot.
