One, Three and a Fiddly Thing

Concert this evening (we're early - it was a lot fuller shortly afterwards).  

Prokofiev Symphony No.1, Schubert No.3 and Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto.  Although the last was the 'headline' piece I enjoyed the others rather more.  The Tchaikovsky was one of those pieces where I was rather more in awe of the technical skill of the musician having to do difficult things than of the music being a pleasure to hear.
