Cheap holiday

Arrived in Venice. Streets full of water, please advise.
Internet and whisky are never good bedfellows, so here I am on a weekend break in Venice.
Got a return ticket from the airport to Arsenale. I found the abbreviation on the ticket funny but the locals don't get it.
