Glasgow

Day #12 of the USS strike. Went through to Glasgow for the UCU rally. I did go a wee bit earlier to wander the streets and visit the modern art gallery. As always some very nice things there. I particularly liked some Paolozzi drawings and was totally fascinated by the film Der Lauf der Dinge by Fischli and Weiss. The rally was greatly attended (see extra) with great speeches. It was particularly good to hear from one of our negotiators. He was saying that the pension deficit was fabricated to atomise the universities and to further commercialise them.
