Kitchen Window Entertainment
By the end of day 2 today they’ve just about eaten or knocked off every berry from the hollies from the kitchen to the front. I hope to get more shots tomorrow from the kitchen to the back. The cedar waxwings and robins gorged themselves today and from what I witnessed, we can expect dozens of holly seedlings after the winter thaw.
I got almost nothing done today (well, I dud wash a window so I could blip the birds), so mesmerized was I by the aerial show and feeding frenzy.
Mr Mole and I drove past the section of river where the blue herons nest. There were several standing on nests to warm themselves and a few soared in and landed while we watched.
I really need to buy a camera with a zoom lens soon.
Have a relaxing weekend peeps!
