Eilean Donan Castle, Isle of Skye

We were very lucky to have two bright, clear days on the Isle of Skye before winter descended. We took a trip to the Old Man of Storr and passed this much-photographed landmark on the way back. Apparently Skye has become a tourist hotspot in recent years and there are swathes of coaches doing the rounds and no accommodation to be had. We stayed in a the youth hostel, which was fine.
