A glow in the dark

I don't have a fireplace in my house ( and didn't in my last one either) but like a flame to make me feel warm. This is why I have had to resort to candles in red glass to get the desired effect. Have only got tea lights at the moment so must go on a candle shopping spree.
Very grey drizzly day and was pleased to batten down the hatches.
Frustrating time buying petrol today. The garage I use is converting to paying at the pump, which is OK except that half of them were out of order and the others you could only pay with cash in the shop as they now have no facilities to take cards!!!Grrrrh!!!!
What happened to the good old days when a nice man filled your tank up for you?
