Pie for Pi Day

N and I were going to make Jamie Oliver's baked vegetable samosas for dinner today but then I remembered it was pi day so I thought we ought to have a pie instead. I Googled "potato and pea pie recipes" to see what came up as that's what we had ready to go in the samosas. Lo and behold, a recipe for "Indian Potato and Pea Pie" came up. Just like a giant pie-shaped samosa then! Bingo!

This was the finished article, although to be honest, despite the fresh garlic, ginger and red chilli, dried cumin and garam masala, and both fresh and dried coriander in it, it was somehow bland!
