Deeds envy.......

.....Mr and MrsNextDoor have just received theirs in the post (for our street history project) and let's just say I'm well jealous.....they have a lovely pile of historic documents to drool over but all I have are 4 typewritten (in the 60's) sheets and and a photocopied A4 Ordnance Survey map.....equally valid and 'legal' they may be, but somehow nowhere near as satisfying......sigh...... 

Sadly we had to cancel a planned blipmeet today (adverse weather conditions, it was the right decision!) so I'll be digging for more vintage 'street dirt' instead......tell you what, my Ancestry and British Newspaper Archive subscriptions are getting a proper hammering at the moment ;-)
