Bargain hunting

Following a tip from mrshb70 I headed off at squeak o'clock to Eden Pottery, to check out their annual Spring Sale. Their work is really lovely, but also eye-wateringly expensive!

No1 peanut and I were second in the queue, so got our pick of items from the half-price table. At this reduction the pottery is all 'seconds', but we made sure there were no cracks, just a bit of iffy artwork.

I got a fab big bowl (of running hares, to be blipped another time) and a great elephant bowl for mrshb70, who is off skiing in Austria or some such at the mo.

No1 peanut bought loads! Most of her purchases are of a beautiful apple design, which she is planning to keep under wraps until she moves into her new home....this may be a month or three, as she hasn't actually started house hunting yet!

A very jolly weekend so far - and it's only Saturday morning. :)

PS there are two lovely bowls in the background of the photo which would be ideal for blipper madchickenwoman!
