A dark sky but no rain in Ambleside.


I noticed recently that my rucksack was wearing at the base. A closer inspection this morning resulted in it being declared unfit for use. Wouldn’t want a camera (or bottle of wine) dropping through! I transferred the contents to a lighter sack that I used to carry on bike rides.

Ambleside has plenty of outdoor shops so with nothing else planned I began the tour.  I eventually found a suitable replacement in Trespass at a bargain price.
